What’s your why?

Some of you here may already know what I do. Empowering my clients to step into their greatest success in the most authentic way is my everyday honor. Helping professionals become high-impact leaders within their industries is what my coaching and programs provide.

Every once in a while, it’s important for me to also share WHY I do this work. I show up the way that I do because I’ve been exactly where my clients are.

I struggled to know how best to grow, how to evolve my role professionally while my life evolved personally, and how to honor what I needed while showing up as the leader I wanted to be.

When I was in the corporate sector, I had many opportunities to stretch myself and grow while I steered critical initiatives, using Corporate Social Responsibility to grow the business and enhance the reputation of my then organization. My role grew and eventually included leading a multi-billion dollar community commitment and acting as a key strategic advisor.

I was growing personally at that time too, and I realized that my passion was less in the corporate arena and more in supporting leaders to grow, and step into their authentic selves. I wanted to help others rise to new challenges and leadership levels.

This passion became my purpose and eventually my full-time career, but it was not easy and at times I felt unclear. My vision and mission were clear . . . but HOW to get to where I desired to be was not.

It can feel daunting when you have made a decision about what you’d like, and how you’d like to show up, but don’t know how to get there from where you are.

This is the value I provide as a coach. I help create clarity so that my clients can see multiple clear paths forward and pick the one that is best for them OR create some new hybrid path.

I get to be what I wish I had when I was opening myself up to the possibilities that turned into my reality today!

It’s so fulfilling. Watching my clients be able to grab some of that same fulfillment in their lives and careers is the best feeling. Serving individuals like you so that you can become the best possible version of yourself is a gift and I’m so glad that it also happens to be my career.

THAT is my why.

I’d love to learn more about YOUR why. Comment below and share your why with me.
